Hi class

We thought we would write the opening paragraph.

The jeep bounced around as Kirra, Will and Josh weaved their way through the jungle. In the back their dog, Timmy, barked as he ran from side to side.
“Where are we?” said Kirra.
“I don’t know, ask Josh,” said Will.
“Oh where are we, we are just passing the Golden Temple of Lava,” replied Josh as he looked up from his map.

Hi class

I thought I would write the opening paragraph for the story.

The ute rumbled around the jungle. Will was driving and Josh,Kirra and the dog were in the back looking for the volcano. "Where are we?" asked Kirra. "I don't know," said Will. They drove for a bit longer then Josh shouted out, "There's the volcano!" Will drove south and they got to the volcano.

Hi Class,
What about this for an opening paragraph.

The Jeep bounced around while Josh was driving, Kirra and Will were interested to look for a map of the jungle. There dog Timmy tumbled side to side.
Kirra was confused “where are we” asked Kirra “this is not the jungle on the map”. “oh no” they all shouted “turn around” yelled Will, meanwhile Timmy was tumbling and turning and almost fell out the car window but Josh caught him. “Where’re lost” said Kirra in a scared voice.

Hi class,

I hope this will be a good paragraph following Will's opening

They went over to the volcano. They saw a secret chest on their map.
“Wow look at that,” exclaimed Will.
“It’s the secret treasure we’ve been looking all over the world to find,” said Kirra, whilst they got out of the ute.
“It’s been a long time since we have got some fresh air,” said Will. They walked toward the gigantic volcano and stared at it. It rumbled louder the closer they got to it.
“That sure is one big volcano!” exclaimed Kirra.
“Do you think that we could climb to the top by sunset?” asked Josh.
“I don’t think so,” said Will.
“What about you Kirra?” asked Josh.
“If we jog we might,” said Kirra. When the sun went down they were at the top panting.
“Woof woof!” barked Timmy.
“What Timmy?” asked Will?
“Timmy is barking at the treasure!” exclaimed Kirra.

hi class
I thought I would write the rest of the story:

The ute bounced around with Josh driving and Kirra, Will and the dog in the back.
“Where are we?” said Josh.
“I don’t know,” said Kirra.
They drove for one more kilometre, then Josh shouted out,
“There’s the volcano!”
Will turned right and they got to the volcano.
They all went up the volcano and found the treasure map.
Then they started fighting over it
"It's mine,” said Kirra.
“No it’s mine,” said Josh.
“No it’s mine, I found it first,” said Will.
They all lost balance and fell into the volcano.
They landed on a ledge in the volcano but their dog was still up the top.
The dog ran to the town and barked at the natives.
The natives came running with ropes and tools and got Josh, Kirra and will out of the volcano. Then they followed the map and got the treasure. The end

They walked slowly up the volcano for three hours and finally they reached the top.
They started digging than the shovel hit something hard it was a little box they opened it and found the treasure map inside.
Then they started fighting over it
"It's mine,” said Kirra.
“No it’s mine,” said Josh.

They all lost balance and fell into the volcano.
They landed on a ledge in the volcano but their dog was still up the top.
The dog ran to the town and barked at the natives.
The natives came running with ropes and tools tied a rope around a tree
And pulled them up than they got back in the Ute with the treasure map and started searching for the treasure.
The walked around searching for the treasure and fell into a trap in the ground the walls were moving closer but then they got an idea they put one leg on one wall and their other leg on the opposite one
Then climbed up. They walked around the temple then found the spot where the treasure should be
They dug and dug and dug then when they thought they could not find it they got the treasure and became rich the end.

The ute bounced around as Will, Josh and Kirra rumbled their way through the jungle. Will was driving whilst Kirra, Josh and their dog Timmy were in the back.
“Where are we?” asked Josh.
“I don’t know,” said Kirra. She looked at her map to see how far it was to the volcano.
“It will take us around 2 hours,” said Kirra.
“Can I take a break,” said Will. They stopped near a bench and got a snack out of the bag.
“Who will drive?” asked Will.
“I will,” said Josh. They kept on driving until they heard a something behind them.
“Woof woof!” barked Timmy. He had seen the volcano.
“Whoops!” cried Kirra. The wind had blown the map out of Kirra’s hands.
“This can’t get any worse can it,” said Will. Suddenly they heard a loud BANG! It was the tyre on the car.
“You shouldn’t have said that,” said Josh.
“I guess we have to get out of the car and see what burst the tyre,” said Kirra. A rock had burst the tyre and they couldn’t fix it.
“Do we have to walk now?” asked Kirra.
“I guess so,” said Will. A couple of hours later they were at the bottom of the volcano.
“That was a long walk,” puffed Kirra.
“I think the walk is going to be a bit longer,” said Will.
“I think we could jog up the volcano,” said Josh. They got to the top of the volcano panting like dogs. As they got closer the volcano became louder.
“Is this safe?” asked Josh
“Yeah,” said Will. They found a map on the volcano was hanging over the edge. It showed were the treasure was. They had a big fight over it.
“It’s mine,” said Will.
“No it’s mine,” said Josh.
“No it’s mine,” said Kirra. Suddenly Will lost his balance and fell into the volcano which tripped Josh and Kirra.
“AAGGGGGHHHHHH!” they screamed. They franticly tried grabbing roots as they fell. They caught a thick branch hanging from the volcano. Suddenly Timmy heard the shouting and screaming of Will, Josh and Kirra from the volcano. He knew he had to do something so he ran around fields barking.
“Woof woof woof!” barked Timmy. It caught one of the natives’ attention and told his friends to bring tools and rope.
“Follow me!” he shouted. They got Will out first and asked him if he was alright and he was ok. Then they pulled out Kirra and Josh. They got water and food and their scratches healed.
“That was a long trip,” said Will.
“It sure was,” said Kirra.
“Let’s go find the treasure,” said Josh. They said thankyou to the natives and then drove to get the treasure.
“Thanks Timmy,” said Josh.
“Yeah,” said Will. Kirra stroked Timmy lightly.
“Woof,” barked Timmy. They followed the map and got the treasure. After they found the treasure they thought it would be good if they found more treasure. From that day on they got a nickname which was “Team Treasure.”

Hi class
I thought I would improve the story:

The Ute bounced around with Josh driving and Kirra, Will and the dog in the back.
“Where are we?” said Josh.
“I don’t know,” said Kirra.
They drove for one more kilometre, then will shouted out,
“There’s the volcano!”
josh turned right and they got to the volcano.
They all slowly walked up the steep volcano then they started to dig their shovel hit something hard. They took the shovel out and found a small box containing the treasure map.
Then they started fighting over it
"It's mine,” said Kirra.
“No it’s mine,” said Josh.
“No it’s mine, I found it first,” said Will.
They all lost balance and fell into the volcano.
They grabbed onto roots to try and pull themselves out of the volcano but they fell down onto a ledge. Their dog Timmy was still up the top.
Timmy ran to the town and barked at the natives.
The natives came running with ropes and tools and tied a rope onto a tree and Kirra, will and josh climbed up they went to the airport. Then they flew to Africa then they boarded the next plane and flew to china. They drove around and got to the spot where the treasure was. Timmy was playing and ran in a hollowed out log then Timmy barked will, josh and Kirra followed. They couldn’t see Timmy then suddenly there was a click sound. A trapdoor opened underneath them and they fell down. They landed in a temple then they saw the treasure chest they opened it then they were rich they all got mansions and lived happily ever after the end.

A trapdoor opened underneath them and they fell down. As they fell they saw that they were in a temple. “Ah!” they screamed. They were in a trap. Josh climbed up and found some vines. He threw them down to Kirra, Will and Timmy. They got up and then they were safe. They looked around they couldn’t see anything. It was as dark as midnight. They looked around some more.
“There’s a key over there,” said Will, “maybe it will open the treasure chest.”
“It might open the treasure chest but we have to find the treasure chest first, then we can test,” said Josh.
They climbed back out of the hollowed out log and went off again to search for the treasure.
They flew to England. It took three days before they were there. They went to a bakery to get a snack and then they sneaked into the cellar. Kirra accidentally knocked over a pot. Then a secret underground passage opened and they walked and walked for hours. Then they finally reached an exit. When they got out they were in an old dungeon with skeletons everywhere.
They went up the stairs and they found they were in a castle!
They told the knights about the treasure but the knights didn’t believe them. They were going to get killed the next day. But Timmy was still in the passage with the map. He chewed through the ropes and they escaped back through the tunnel.
They were back at the bakery.
The owner of the shop said, “Where have you been. You haven’t collected your orders from three days ago?”
“We went to the …ummm… bathroom,” lied Will.
“You went to the bathroom for three whole days!” said the bakery owner, sounding surprised.
Then they left with their snacks and sat down to eat their doughnuts.
Then they set off again. They were walking through the jungle when a trapdoor opened underneath them they fell down into a cave.
There was a secret pattern on the wall with symbols. Lucky for them Josh studied secret messages. Josh said, “The sign says dig to your right,” so they dug to their right and got the treasure chest. They put the key in and it worked. They became rich, got mansions and lived happily ever after.

Timmy jumped against the cave wall and then a room with a blank piece of paper in the middle of it opened up. Josh picked up the piece of paper and he put it over the treasure map. When Josh put it over the treasure map it completed the map and showed them the way to the treasure. They then went up to the surface.
They swam for hours and hours then Josh shouted out, “There’s an island!”
“Where?” asked Kirra looking up from the water
“There,” said Josh “Over there in the distance.”
They started to paddle as fast as they could. They got to the island and started building a fire and little huts out of the twigs and wood they found. Then they went to sleep.

Hi Class,

I thought I would post my story that I call,
"The Treasure".
I hope you like it.
One day not long ago, there lived three brave children who wanted to go on an adventure.
Their names were Kirra, Will and Josh.
They also had a dog called Timmy.

One day they were in the playground at the school that they go to, when suddenly a big rumble was heard.
“What was that?” Kirra asked.
“I don’t know but let’s find out where it’s coming from” replied Will.
They went closer to the rumbling noise and closer and closer then the playground fell apart!
“Get to the classrooms!” yelled the teachers.
All the children ran to the classrooms.
“Help!” yelled Josh with fear.
Kirra and Will turned around and saw Josh holding onto the swings.
“Oh no!” shrieked Will.
“Come on Will, let’s go and help Josh” yelled Kirra.
They ran rapidly towards Josh.
“Grab my hand!” yelled Kirra.

Hi Class
Here's my second part of my story

“I think I see a light” said Will feeling surprised.
“It’s just my torch, Will” said Josh.
“Where are we?” said Kirra shaking.
“Woof woof woof woof” barked Timmy.
“What’ve you got Timmy?” asked Will.
“He’s got a map!” said Kirra.
Will looked at the map for ages.

After five minutes, Will said to Kirra and Josh,
“So it says that there’s treasure near a volcano……”
“TREASURE?” Kirra and Josh interrupted.
“Yes, so let’s go and try to find this volcano” said Will.
So off they went to find the volcano.

“Ugh, I feel like we’ve been walking for ten thousand years” moaned Kirra with boredom.
“Kirra we’ve only been walking for ten minutes” said Josh.
“Yeah ten minutes isn’t long” agreed Will.
“Woof woof woof” barked Timmy.
“Your right Timmy, we’re getting closer” said Josh.

After five minutes, they finally reached the volcano.
“FINALLY!!!!” said Kirra.
“Whoa, that volcano is the biggest volcano I’ve ever seen!” said Josh.
“So let’s see…… ah there it is” said Will.
“What” asked Kirra curiously?
“It’s the X” replied Josh.
“We have to climb to the top of the volcano” said Will.

So they climbed and climbed and climbed until they got to the top.
“Hey it’s my turn to hold the map!” said Kirra.
“No it’s my turn!” said Josh snatching the map.
“Hey its mine, I found it!” yelled Will.
“NO IT”S MINE” yelled Kirra.
The children lost grip of the map and they fell!
“AHHHHHH!!!!!!” they shrieked.
Luckily, they held on to a strong branch off a tree.
“HELP!!!” they all yelled.
Timmy ran to some natives and barked at them so they could help the children.
The natives brang ropes to pull them out.
“Heave, ho, heave, ho” they chanted.
Finally they got Kirra Will and Josh out!
“Hooray!” they all shouted.
Josh got the shovel and dug until he hit something hard.
It was the treasure!

Because the children’s school was destroyed, they lived with the natives and had a splendid life.
The End

Timmy ran to the town and barked at the natives.
The natives came running with ropes and tools and tied a rope onto a tree and Kirra, Will and Josh climbed up. They went to the airport. Then they flew to Africa and then they boarded the next plane and flew to China.
Timmy was playing and ran into a hollowed out log. Timmy barked and Will, Josh and Kirra followed. They couldn’t see Timmy, then suddenly there was a click sound. “You went to the bathroom for three whole days!” said the bakery owner, sounding surprised.
