There are special names for the young and the homes of many animals.  You might find some interesting vocabulary on this website.

When we put two words together to make a new word it is called a compound word.  Can you think of some more compound words. Please blog these words.
A homonym is a word that sounds the same, has the SAME spelling but has a DIFFERENT meaning.   Can you think of some homonyms that you can blog for us? Remember that you will need to write a sentence so that we understand the different meanings. Don't forget your punctuation.
Homophones are words which sound the same but are spelt differently and have a different meaning.  Can you think of some homophones that you would like to write about?
 Can you think of some synonyms. Try to think of synonyms for said, good and happy.
Send them in a blog. Are there other synonyms you can think of? Post them on a blog too.  In Grammar this week we have been learning about antonyms. Antonyms are words which are opposite in meaning.
