Containers

This week 3B & 3D have been looking at the correct name that we use for containers. For example a reservoir contains (or stores) water, a silo is a storage area for wheat.

See if you can find three unusual or new names for containers and add these to our website.

Remember that we will be using these words that we learn to make interesting crossword puzzles to share.

A carafe is a container for wine snd a book shelf is a container for books.

Hi everyone,

We have found two new containers. A vacuum flask holds liquid and keeps it hot or cold and a demijohn is a large glass bottle that holds wine.

Hi class,
We have found 2 new containers. The first one is an ampoule which is a small glass that holds liquid medicine that needs to be injected into people.The second one is a thermos which keeps liquid hot or cold. From Steven and Krystal

We have found some new containers a vial is a small bottle that holds medicine and perfume.
We also found a thermos that is a container that keeps liquids that are hot or cold in it.

I found out that a barrel holds liquid like wine.
I also know that a aerosols hold a foam thingy that it sprays out.
