This week 3B & 3D have been looking at the correct name that we use for containers. For example a reservoir contains (or stores) water, a silo is a storage area for wheat.

See if you can find three unusual or new names for containers and add these to our website.

We have found two new containers. A vacuum flask holds liquid and keeps it hot or cold and a demijohn is a large glass bottle that holds wine.

Hi class,
We have found 2 new containers. The first one is an ampoule which is a small glass that holds liquid medicine that needs to be injected into people.The second one is a thermos which keeps liquid hot or cold. From Steven and Krystal

I found out that a barrel holds liquid like wine.
I also know that a aerosols hold a foam thingy that it sprays out.
